Propeller is constantly evolving as we strive to improve the user experience for both our admin portal and mobile users.
It has been a busy month for all our platforms, with updates released for the web portal, iOS and Android.
Here are some of the highlights:
We are constantly monitoring customer feedback and include any concerns or suggestions in our development considerations. This feedback has been the core focus of recently development for our web portal and underlying systems.
April’s release saw the first of many upcoming performance improvements aimed at providing a more consistent user experience throughout the Propeller portal.
This is the first stage of a major rework of the Propeller architecture which will improve fault resilience, performance and scalability.
We have added a notification to display overdue invoices when creating a new visit and on the Property details page.
The notification on creating a new visit displays any invoice(s) that is overdue by at least 14 days and allows the user to navigate to the Property, Invoice or Visit that the invoice is associated in a single action.
The Bulk Visit creation tool has also been updated with multiple improvements:
- Performance improvements for validation
- The ability to create (in addition to the visits):
- Job Names and ID’s (if also creating jobs
- Part codes & Finance Types (e.g. for SOR creation)
Xero sync update
You can now choose to sync an entire date range of invoices with Xero, even if they have not been modified in Propeller. This means Propeller will look for any payments in Xero on all of these invoices and pull them into Propeller from Xero.
This release also included numerous bug fixes, including improvements to the Wall Planner.
Our latest updates for Android, iPhone and iPad have focused on fixing any outstanding user reported issues and crashes, in addition to updating materials lists to include new item states.
The materials list feature now allows the user to select states for added items to better indicate the status of the item by selecting from the following:
This status is also shown on the web portal.
Upcoming updates will continue with optimizations and architectural improvements to underlying systems, in addition to implementing the 18th Edition Electrical Regulations into the mobile apps and web portal.
We pride ourselves with our development being responsive to customer reported issues and suggestions with no suggestions or issue too small for us to investigate for a future release.
